winter camp week six started tonight. I am glad when camps are in cause i stay busy and get to do what i really love. the speaker this week is very good and i really enjoyed his message tonight. so other than that nothing has really changed since yesterday. so here is my list from my last post.

Basic Instinct - ok movie, lots of nudity. michael douglas plays the same roll a lot of the time.
(3 netflix stars)

war of the worlds - seen it before, really love the movie but really wish it had a different ending. (4 netflix stars)

american hardcore - documentary on nothing less than american hardcore/punk rock. i really enjoyed the knowledge but it was a poorly filmed documentary. (3 netflix stars)

cleaner - samuel l jackson. cool idea but didnt really do much. it was ok but other than the good editing nothing to write home about. (3 netflix stars)

Fallen - denzel washington and john goodman. good movie kind of a crazy spiritual concept. shows somewhat of where the idea for constantine, end of days, da vinci code derive from.

the light at the end of the tunnel

i am looking for the light at the end of the tunnel.  My job is still going well but i am still lacking a lot of areas. I really need a mentor at this place in my life and am constantly praying for someone who has been through my same path to come along side of me and guide me in the right direction. So lately i have been watching a lot of movies. Which i'm sure surprises a lot of you. here is my little list with a few comments. i really think if i could have a job being a film critic. I think that this is all i can be really good at.

Trainspotting - ive seen this before but i really loved it the twentieth time.

Tremors - saw this for the first time the other night. I really liked it but i didnt think it was as funny as people have said.

carrie (2002)- very very long intro but i didnt really mind the story all that much. It was ok but i have seen man better horror films

Dawn of the Dead - i own the remake of this but have never seen the original. It explained a lot and i really enjoyed it. Somewhat ridiculous but i now understand where so many horror films came from.

30 Rock - i have been watching 30 rock a lot and really like it. I think it is very hilarious and really love the characters.

i am currently watching any given sunday. which i have never seen.

let me know what you think of these as well and let me know what movies you have for suggestions.

hope your all well!!

Hume Lake (01-08-09)

Today has been a pretty nice day already. Except for the fact that i dont feel super well. I dont know what happened but i swear my stomach cannot handle anything anymore. If anyone know how to get a stomach transplant please let me know. I had a few meetings today and tonight i will be filming for winter camp. I am excited to be on the second week of winter camp because i know a lot more of what i want for this video. I got a lot of cool stuff last weekend but now i know exactly what i want, so thats a relief. I had a nice lunch today with a few new friends shout out to all my HUME LAKE (haha kip) friends.
Yesterday i went down to fresno with a few friends. We went to sushi and then to target. It was a good time. it was me and 3 other girls so it got a little....... how do i saw feminine but it was still really fun.
I have been watching movies from my new book "501 movies you must see" i just watched Deer Hunter and Deliverance. They were both ok now i am watching the andromeda strain the old one. So i am hoping everyone is doing wonderful.

"so this is the new year"

I had one of the craziest days yesterday. I worked about 19 hours straight. It was crazy. I spent the night filming a bunch of happy families celebrating in style at Hume Lake's Family Camp. Hume Lake really knows how to do things. It was a very lonely holiday for me being by myself with no family or close friends but i know this is just a phase and someday i will be married with kids. Hopefully sooner than later. Today i have been working a little in the afternoon and will be filming the first Winter Camp which will run until Sunday afternoon. So wish me luck and be praying for my wife to hurry up and get here. haa.

its been a long time

i know it has been a long time since i have posted anything and i realize that i am missing out on what i really used to love to do. I love journaling my thoughts and really getting all my feelings out. It is such a nice feeling and very reliving at times. So here is a little update;

Life has been good here at Hume. I am very independent here to put it as nice as possible. Most of the time i work then watch a movie or two then go to sleep and do it all over again. I love working and the job is so perfect for me. I am actually applying for a new higher position here so i am really hoping God puts me where he wants me.

I just returned from Redding this last saturday and had a nice time hanging out with family and a few friends. I like Redding a lot but i really enjoying having my own life here at hume.

Being independent here is good but i get very lonely and am definatly ready for a sould mate to come along. There are so many pretty people here it is hard to be single and just ok with being single. But anyways i will try to post more often for you people who do want to know more about me and also for myself. here are a few pictures off my new camera my parents got me for christmas.

When i got back to Hume i had a nice movie night with Denise, Danielle, Charles and Liz.

Aleah got a really nice Umbrella
This is the sweet Organ the Baughs got me for christmas.

Preston got a sweet old school desk from the Baughs

This is tommy and I. I got to hangout with him a few nights while i was in Redding.
